Technical Qualifications

Instituto Interagir returned with the training provided by Mobiliza Todos Pela Água, several municipalities enrolled in the project were invited to participate in a moment and get to know our work.

Municipalities will receive important information about our hydro-environmental form (a tool used to catalog and insert springs into a database), and all the information contained therein. How to identify a perennial, temporary or ephemeral spring, characteristics of the vegetation around the spring, identify the top of a hill and possible sources of pollution near the water hole are some of the various topics that will be presented.

Dynamics, case studies and the presentation of the duly updated and georeferenced database, showing the springs on the Google Earth platform, with photos and description of each of the springs sent by the municipalities.

Results

The Technicians participating in the training received valuable information about their municipalities, issues such as water risk and socio-environmental projects were debated. The Hydroenvironmental Form was presented, all technicians had the opportunity to see this tool applied in practice, filling it out and learning more about the technical terms present in it. In this way, it is possible to align the way of working, standardizing the process of cataloging the springs and protecting them more efficiently.
